Children’s Choir – The young children of Cornerstone have a choir on Sunday evenings. Pre-school choir ages 2 thru 5 years. Children’s choir grades K thru 6th grade. Choir practice is on Sundays at 6:00 pm. Children sing their music at special times throughout the year. Come and sing with us!
Youth Choir – The youth choir practices and sings in special services at Cornerstone.
Vacation Bible School – VBS theme for 2009 is “Crocodile Dock.” Age 3 years through upcoming 7th grade children are welcome.
Children’s Revival – Yearly revival service designed to evangelize Warren County children.
Revival Meetings – Yearly revival services designed to grow Cornerstone Baptist in the knowledge of God’s Word and to evangelize all ages in Warren County. Guest preachers and evangelists are invited to preach the Word in order to strengthen our church body and to reach lost people in our community.
Projects Ministry – Meet weekly on Mondays at 5:00 pm. Participants go to the activity center at West Riverside community and share weekly bible studies. Also hold Vacation Bible School during summer as well as have an Easter and Christmas party.
CD Ministry – Sunday and Wednesday church sermons are recorded onto a CD. These CD’s can be purchased for $1.00 each. Keep them for your personal library or share with someone in the community. You may order by calling the church office at 931-668-9495.
Children’s Church – Special children’s church service designed to be understood on a children’s level. Children meet during both Sunday morning services. The service teaches the basic structure of adult church service.
Bus Ministry – (Please call the church at least 2 hours in advance for pickup) Church Bus is available to run on Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. Will take individuals from home to church and back home again. Being stranded shouldn’t stop anyone from coming to church!
Jail Ministry – Every Wednesday night, a group goes to the Warren Co. jail to witness and share the word of God with inmates. The group also gives out Bibles, prays with inmates, and encourages them through fellowship.
Nursing Home Ministry – The children’s choir goes to McMinnville Boarding Home to share music and fellowship. They visit the Boarding Home on the 4th Sunday each month at 6:00 pm.
Baptist Womens Group – Participate in local as well as foreign missions. The Group meets on the 1st Tues each month at 6:30 pm.
Round Up Sunday – A day each year specially designated for evangelism of lost souls (family, friends etc).
Men’s Ministry – Men encourage each other at monthly meetings using Proverbs 27:17 as a guide. Men also assist the needy and elderly in the community with special needs or projects.
Habitat for Humanity – Church participates in building houses within the community for the Habitat Organization. See www.habitat.org for more information.
Church Softball League – The season for both men, women, and youth is from late spring into mid summer.
Secret Sisters – Internal church fellowship of women designed to encourage other women. Each women is assigned a sister in Christ. This person prays for them, encourages them with cards or small gifts each month. Each year, it is revealed who your secret sister is.
Women’s Ministry – A women’s ministry that deals with community outreach and group fellowship. Group functions are held on the 3rd Sunday each month in order to strengthen bonds and their personal walk with the Lord – Proverbs 31:10-31.
Cornerstone Food Bank – Contact the church office for food distribution. Cornerstone Girls in Action assist the church in collection of food for individuals in need.
Newspaper Ministry – Contact Church Office 668-9495. Weekly article is placed in Southern Standard newspaper. Articles consist of general information, upcoming church events, and scripture devotions.
Mom’s in Touch – A group of mothers get together at 6:00pm on Wednesday nights and pray for their school age children, school teachers, personnel, and the school system. Only meet while school is in session. Click here for more info on Moms in Touch International Program.
